Keller and Heckman Partners Speak in Amsterdam Ahead of March 2020 Food Packaging Law Seminar

Keller and Heckman Partners Rachida Semail and Jeff Keithline spoke at Smithers Pira’s Plastics and Paper in Contact with Foodstuffs 2019 Seminar, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands on December 2-5.

Ms. Semail’s presentation, titled, “The Single-Use Plastics Directive: Challenges Ahead,” detailed the background, scope, and implications of EU Directive 2019/904 on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment. Mr. Keithline’s presentation, titled, “Regulation of Food-Contact Materials in Japan,” provided an overview of the Japanese regulatory framework for food packaging and food safety.
