Is it acceptable to sell product with English only on the packaging in Ontario?

Health Canada has increased Drug Master File (DMF) filing fees, effective as of April 1, 2015. The revised fee structure increases the cost of filing a new DMF to $424 (Canadian), the cost of filing a biannual update to $191 (Canadian), and the cost of filing a Letters of Access to $191 (Canadian).

Canadians recycled 9% more plastic packaging in 2013 than in 2012, according to a report released by the Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) on April 2, 2015. Plastic packaging collected for recycling includes plastic bottles, non-bottle rigid plastics, and plastic films, including bags and outer wrap. The reported quantities of plastic recycled in 2013 compared to 2012 levels represent an increase of 13 million kilograms for bottles and an increase of 10 million kilograms for plastic films, such as bags and outer wrap.

Packaging materials, along with construction materials and non-food chemicals, used in federally registered meat processing plants in Canada no longer need to be registered with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as a result of recent amendments to the Canadian Meat Inspection Regulations (1990). The regulatory changes, which were proposed in April 2012, were published in the Canada Gazette on July 2, 2014 and became effective that day.

A Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) survey found that all of the canned foods tested for Bisphenol A (BPA) were safe to consume. CFIA conducted the study between 2011 and 2012 to test the migration level of BPA in 403 canned food samples. BPA was not detected in 98.5% of the canned foods tested, while six of the canned food contained only trace amounts.
