DC LGBTQ+ Bar Association Elects Keller and Heckman Associate Caleb Holland to Board of Directors

Caleb Holland, a Keller and Heckman Associate with the Food and Drug Packaging practice group, was elected to the District of Columbia LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s Board of Directors for the 2023 – 2025 term.

“I am so honored to have the opportunity to serve in a role that allows me to be a voice for other LGBTQ+ attorneys,” said Caleb. “I am eager to use my position to especially help new attorneys smoothly transition from law school to productive members of the Washington, DC legal community.”

Caleb has been a member of the DC LGBTQ+ Bar Association since he was a student at the Catholic University Columbus School of Law. In his new role as a board member, Caleb will meet once a month with other board members to discuss outreach efforts, upcoming events, and other ways to promote the interests of the LGBTQ+ community within the legal profession.

Founded in 1990, the District of Columbia LGBTQ+ Bar Association is an independent, non-partisan bar association serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender lawyers, law students, and legal professionals in the Washington, DC area. The association’s mission is to advance the rights of persons in the LGBTQ+ community, to be their voice within the legal community, and to improve their professional lives.

At Keller and Heckman, Caleb advises domestic and foreign clients on regulatory and compliance matters related to food and drug packaging, food additives and ingredients, dietary supplements, and pharmaceuticals. He also counsels clients on good manufacturing practice (GMP) issues related to the manufacture of food packaging and other food-contact materials.

Prior to joining the firm, Caleb was a Judicial Intern in the Office of Special Masters of the Court of Federal Claims, where he conducted legal research on vaccine issues, reviewed and analyzed medical records, and assisted with drafting and editing decisions for the Special Master.
