The Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) issued Green Product Certification Implementation Rules on June 4, 2021 (CNCA Announcement No. 7 of 2021). These rules include revisions to the first batch of 12 Green Product Certification Implementation Rules (CNCA Announcement No. 6 of 2020), including “Green Product Certification Implementation Rules for Wood Plastic Products.”

CNCA Announcement No. 7 of 2021 also include a second batch of Green Product Certification Implementations Rules. These include “Green Product Certification Implementation Rules for Plastic Products” and "Green Product Certification Implementation Rules for Cleaning Products.”

Certification bodies should approve the green product certificates in compliance with the new version of rules effective June 4, 2021. The first batch of Certification Implementation Rules (CNCA Announcement No. 6 of 2020) are repealed, however valid certifications issued under that version may still be used until they expire.
