Chinese Draft Standards for Polyethylene and Polypropylene Resins Available in English

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has published informal English translations of China's draft food safety standards for polyethylene resin and polypropylene resin for food-contact applications. The translations were issued by the Beijing office of USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) on February 2, 2012.

The Chinese Ministry of Health (MOH) notified the draft standards for polyethylene resin and polypropylene resin, which revise current standards, to the World Trade Organization (WTO) for comment on November 17, 2011.
